JAZZ:
Jazz dancing is a form of dance that showcases individual style & originality. Every jazz dancer interprets & executes moves & steps in his own way. Jazz dancing is energetic & fun, consisting of unique moves, fancy footwork, big leaps & quick turns.
HIP HOP:
Hip Hop has developed from several cultures, including jazz, rock, tap, & American & Latino cultures. Hip Hop is a very energetic form of dancing & it possesses a great sense of attitude. It is unique in that it allows its dancers to perform with freedom of movement, adding in their own personalities.
STREET:
Street dance, also called vernacular dance is an umbrella ter,, used to describe dance styles that evolved outside of dance studios in everyday dance spaces such as streets, school yards & nightclubs. They are often improvisational &social; in nature, encouraging interaction & contact with the spectators & the other dancers.
SALSA:
Salsa refers to a fusion of informal dance styles having roots in the Caribbean. Salsa is danced to Salsa music. There is a strong African influence in the music as well as the dance. Salsa is usually a partner dance, although there are recognized solo steps & some forms are danced in groups of couples, with frequent exchange of partners. Improvisation & social dancing are the important elements of Salsa but it appears as a performance dance too.
